How can you rate and rank the importance of a blog? There are a number of standard measures that can be used.
Technorati Authority is the number of blogs linking to a website in the last six months. The higher the number, the more Technorati Authority the blog has.
Technorati Rank is calculated based on how far you are from the top. The blog with the hightest Technorati Authority is the #1 ranked blog. The smaller your Technorati Rank, the closer you are to the top. This is a measure of link popularity.
Alexa Rank This is based on traffic information from Alexa Toolbar users. The rank of a site reflects both the number of users who visit that site as well as the number of pages viewed. The smaller your Alexa Ranking, the closer you are to the top.
PageRank PageRank is Google’s way of deciding a page’s importance. It is a measure of the number of links and the PageRank of the sites that link to your page. Not all links are counted by Google, they filter out those of low importance.
Does anyone else have some suggestions?
